Bonze Adventure is this weirdly charming arcade game where you play as Bonze Kackremboh—basically a little monk dude trying to stop Emma, the underworld king who’s lost his mind. The whole place is crawling with snakes, floating eyeballs, and ghosts, so you’ll be blowing colored bubbles at them like some kind of spiritual bubblegum warrior.

Here’s the twist: your bubbles grow bigger the more you use them, but if you unleash a special attack, they shrink back down. You’ll need to grab matching colored items to pump them up again. Sometimes an angel pops in to drop helpful power-ups, which is nice because some of those enemies are seriously creepy.

It’s simple but weirdly satisfying, especially when you’ve got a giant bubble ready to wipe out a whole screen of monsters. Just don’t get too trigger-happy with the special moves—you’ll regret it when your bubble’s the size of a pea.
