Brooktown High is basically like stepping into a cheesy but weirdly addictive teen movie where you get to rewrite the script. You create your character—pick their look, style, even their vibe (are you the shy artist or the loudmouth class clown?)—and then just… try not to flunk high school socially. The goal? Climb the popularity ladder by schmoozing (or alienating) everyone from the chess club nerds to the football team.

There’s this weirdly satisfying little meter that shows how into you each character is, which either fuels your ego or makes you panic when the goth kid suddenly hates your jokes. Dates are these mini-game mashups—awkward mall trips, terrible dancing, even strip blackjack (yep, it’s as ridiculous as it sounds). Half the fun is seeing how badly you can bomb a conversation with the preppy kid who definitely judges your cafeteria tray choices.

It’s janky, the dialogue’s cringe in the best way, and somehow you’ll still care about whether Jessica from math class thinks you’re cool. Perfect for when you want drama without leaving your couch.
