Brother Bear on the Game Boy Advance came out in 2003 from Disney Interactive Studios. You control Kenai in both his human and bear forms, navigating side-scrolling levels filled with obstacles and enemies. The main goal is to reach the end of each stage, solving environmental puzzles that often require switching forms; the human can climb vines and use a spear, while the bear can break barriers and charge through foes. You collect spirit symbols scattered throughout the levels, which are necessary to progress. The pacing is methodical, with some tricky platforming sections that demand careful jumps.
