Play BS Kirby no Omochabako - Baseball Online

Kirby trades his usual inhaling for a baseball bat in this goofy SNES oddity—watch him float around bases and sneak power-ups between pitches while familiar enemies call the shots. It’s janky, short, and exactly the kind of weird you’d expect from a Japan-only Kirby baseball spin-off.

Game Overview

BS Kirby no Omochabako: Baseball came out in 1995 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by HAL Laboratory. It was part of a series of Japan-only games broadcast via satellite, so it feels like a strange, almost experimental piece of the SNES library, something most players outside Japan never got to try.

You control Kirby on a baseball field, but instead of a standard game, you explore screen by screen, hitting balls toward enemies to knock them out and advance. The main goal is to clear each area by defeating all opponents, using Kirby’s float ability to dodge incoming pitches and position yourself. Power-ups appear between plays, letting you swing harder or move faster, and the pacing is brisk but a little awkward, with some unpredictable enemy patterns. It feels silly and slightly unpolished, like a quick side project someone dreamed up between bigger games.
