Play Bubble Blobb Online
Blast colored bubbles with your cannon, match them to pop and clear the screen, and keep the descending blobs at bay in this classic arcade-style game.
Bubble Blobb was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a compilation that bundled various shareware titles from the early 1990s. It was developed by a small team whose name isn't widely remembered today, but the game fits right into that era of simple, focused arcade-style experiences designed for quick sessions on a PC. You wouldn't call it groundbreaking, but it had a clear purpose and a distinct visual style that made it stand out on a floppy disk among other games of the time.
You control a small cannon at the bottom of the screen, firing colored bubbles upward at a descending wall of blobs. The main objective is to clear each screen by matching three or more bubbles of the same color, causing them to pop and halt the advance of the blob mass. Key mechanics include banking shots off the sides of the playfield for tricky angles and timing your shots carefully as the wall creeps lower with each move you make. The pacing is relentless; the blobs descend steadily, and missed shots quickly eat up your limited space. It feels like a constant race against a slow, suffocating pressure, where every shot matters and one mistake can cascade into a quick defeat.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
