Download Burnout Legends (Japan) (v1.01) (EA Best Hits) ROM – Sony PSP Game
"Tear through traffic, rack up takedowns, and trigger slow-mo crashes—your boost meter rewards the most reckless driving. Unlock faster cars as you wreck your way through races and demolition derbies."
Game Overview
Burnout Legends came out for the PlayStation Portable in 2005, developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts. It was a solid entry in the early PSP library, pulling together the best elements from the first three Burnout console games into one portable package. At a time when handheld racing often meant compromises, this one delivered a surprisingly complete arcade experience.
You control a selection of fast, fragile cars across various event types, from standard races to pure crash competitions. The main objective is to win events, earn medals, and unlock new vehicles and modes. Signature mechanics include using risky driving near traffic to fill your boost meter; once full, you engage boost for intense speed bursts. Another key feature is the crash mode, where you cause massive pileups for high scores. The game moves at a breakneck pace, and the difficulty encourages aggressive, almost violent driving. It feels thrilling to weave through oncoming traffic at top speed, narrowly avoiding disaster just to keep your boost alive.
