Bust A Move for the Game Boy Advance came out in 2001, developed by Taito. It was one of those perfect puzzle games for the handheld, easy to pick up during a short break or a long ride. You control a small dinosaur at the bottom of the screen who aims and fires colored bubbles from a launcher. Your main goal is to clear each screen by matching three or more bubbles of the same color, causing them to pop. Key mechanics include banking shots off the walls to reach tricky angles and planning several moves ahead to avoid filling the screen. The game starts gently but the difficulty ramps up steadily, demanding more precision and foresight. It feels satisfying to watch a whole cluster disappear with one well-placed shot.
