Play Cabal on Msdos Online
Dodge behind crates while enemy fire shreds the air around you, picking off soldiers and tanks in quick bursts—mess up and you're back to square one. Pure 80s arcade chaos with zero handholding.

Cabal came out in 1989 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by TAD Corporation. It was a port of an arcade game, and on the PC, it fit right in with the kind of fast, demanding action titles that were common then. You didn't get a lot of story; you just got thrown into the fight.
You control a lone commando viewed from behind, pinned down on a battlefield. Your goal is to survive each stage by eliminating all enemy soldiers, jeeps, and tanks. The core mechanics are simple but tense: you move your character left and right to dodge behind cover while aiming a crosshair independently to shoot. The screen scrolls automatically, forcing you to keep up or be overrun. It's brutally difficult, with one-hit deaths sending you back to the start of the stage. The feeling is pure, frantic pressure from start to finish.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
