Cartoon Network Racing (Supremacy) came out for the Nintendo DS in 2006, published by The Game Factory. It was one of those many licensed kart racers that tried to capture the spirit of its source material, landing right in the middle of the DS's life when quirky multiplayer games were a big draw.
You pick a character like Ben 10 or the Powerpuff Girls and race them on tracks inspired by their shows. The main goal is straightforward: finish first. You collect weapon pickups, things like projectile attacks or traps, to slow down the other racers. The tracks have shortcuts and hazards that keep you paying attention. It's not a particularly difficult game, but the AI can get aggressive in the later cups. Driving through a chaotic mess of rainbows and cartoon explosions just feels silly and lighthearted.
