Nintendo brought back Excitebike for the GBA, and it’s still that same chaotic, over-the-top racing game from the NES days. You’re basically wrestling with your bike the whole time—trying not to faceplant after a bad landing, dodging other riders who love to sideswipe you, and keeping an eye on the engine meter so you don’t blow it up from revving too hard.

The track editor is where I spent way too much time. You can slap ramps, pits, and weird bumps wherever you want, then save your sadistic creation to torture your friends with later. Some of the custom tracks people make are just brutal, but that’s half the fun.

It’s simple, fast, and still holds up if you’re into that old-school arcade vibe.
