Game Overview

Classic NES - The Legend Of Zelda on GBA still holds up, though it feels rough around the edges compared to modern games. You start with nothing but a wooden sword, wandering into caves and burning bushes just to see what happens. The world feels huge when you first step out, but also kind of empty in a way that makes every discovery matter.

I remember getting stuck for hours in the first dungeon, pushing blocks and bombing walls at random until something clicked. The puzzles don't hold your hand, and the combat's simple but punishing if you rush in. The music's still great though, especially when you find a new item and that little jingle plays.

It's impressive how much Classic NES - The Legend Of Zelda does with so little. The overworld map feels alive in a way that makes you want to check every screen, even if half the time it's just more octopus monsters.
