Contra [T-Port] is that classic NES run-and-gun where you're blasting through jungles and alien bases, dodging bullets that feel like they take up half the screen. The first level throws you right into it—no tutorial, just you, a machine gun, and waves of soldiers who don't seem to care how many of them you mow down.

The NES version stretches out the arcade levels, so instead of quick bursts, you get these longer, more punishing stages. The jungle feels thicker, the bases more maze-like. And yeah, the Konami Code is basically mandatory unless you enjoy seeing the "GAME OVER" screen every five minutes.

It's rough around the edges—some hit detection feels unfair, and the slowdown when too much is happening can mess up your timing. But there's something satisfying about memorizing enemy patterns and finally making it past that one brutal section after a dozen tries. Contra [T-Port] doesn't hold your hand, and that's kind of the point.
