You control two commandos, one agile and one heavily armed, and can swap between them instantly to adapt to different threats. The main objective is to fight through waves of soldiers and bio-mechanical monsters, screen by screen, using a mix of standard firearms and overpowered special weapons picked up from downed enemies. The game is fast and difficult, demanding quick reflexes and smart character switching to avoid overwhelming fire. It feels frantic and demanding, but pulling off a clean run through a tough section is deeply satisfying.
