Game Overview

Corpse Party - Blood Covered is one of those games that sticks with you—and not in a good way, if you're easily spooked. You start as a group of high schoolers telling ghost stories, but things go sideways fast when a ritual transports them to Heavenly Host Elementary, a school with a seriously messed-up past. The pixel art somehow makes everything creepier, especially when you're exploring dim hallways and suddenly hear whispers or... other sounds.

What got me was the sound design. Headphones are a must—the creaks, distant crying, and those abrupt, gory moments hit way harder with good audio. And don’t get too comfortable; choices matter, and some decisions lead to endings so brutal you’ll want to replay just to avoid them (good luck with that). The PSP remake sharpens everything up, but the real horror’s in the writing—it’s bleak, unsettling, and weirdly hard to put down.

Fair warning: this isn’t jump-scare horror. It’s the slow, gnawing kind that lingers.
