The hovercrafts handle like you’re sliding on butter, which is either hilarious or infuriating depending on how many times you’ve crashed into a snowman.

What’s cool is it’s not just straight-up racing—there are these adventure mode challenges where you’re collecting coins or racing against a clock, and the boss battles against that smug crocodile Wizpig still give me flashbacks. The multiplayer’s a blast if you can find someone else with a DS, though good luck convincing them to put down Mario Kart long enough to try it. It’s janky in that early DS way, but that’s part of the charm.
