Game Overview
Die Hard on the NES is one of those weirdly fun movie tie-ins that somehow works. You play as John McClane, running around a skyscraper (of course) shooting terrorists and dodging bullets in this top-down action game. It’s not exactly like the movie—more of a run-and-gun thing with some maze-like floors—but the tension’s there when you’re low on ammo and bad guys keep spawning. The controls are a little stiff by today’s standards, but back then, blowing up elevators and finding hidden weapon caches felt pretty satisfying. Just don’t expect Bruce Willis’s face to show up anywhere.
