Game Overview
Dino Rex is this weird, kinda janky arcade fighter where you pit dinosaurs against each other in brutal one-on-one battles. The setup’s wild—imagine 2500 B.C., but somehow humans and dinos coexist, and an Amazonian queen makes tribes fight for her hand (or claw?) using prehistoric beasts. It’s ridiculous in the best way.
You pick from six dinos, each with their own weird little moveset. The T-Rex swings its tiny arms like it’s trying to swat flies, while the Triceratops just bulldozes everything. Fights are quick, messy, and surprisingly tense—especially against a friend. The controls take a second to get used to, but once you figure out how to time tail swipes or dodge charges, it clicks.
It’s not exactly Street Fighter, but there’s charm in its clunky animations and over-the-top premise. You’ll either love it or wonder what the arcade cabinet was smoking. Either way, it’s a dinosaur brawler with zero apologies.
