Play Dinobasher Starring Bignose the Caveman (Europe) (Proto) Online

Bignose the caveman tosses rocks at dinos with that classic floaty jump physics—you’ll be hopping vines and dodging pterodactyls in some charmingly janky '90s platforming. That T-Rex boss fight? Pure chaotic Sega prototype energy.

Game Overview

Ever played one of those weird, unfinished Sega Master System prototypes that somehow ooze charm despite their rough edges? Dinobasher Starring Bignose the Caveman is exactly that—a goofy little platformer where you play as a caveman chucking rocks at dinosaurs to save his tribe. It’s got that early '90s Euro-platformer vibe: bright colors, chunky sprites, and controls that take a minute to get used to (Bignose has this weird floaty jump at first).

You’ll spend most of your time hopping between vines and ledges while dodging pterodactyls, which sounds simple until you realize the level layouts are just unpredictable enough to keep you on your toes. The T-Rex boss fight at the end is janky in the best way—like someone took Alex Kidd and mashed it up with a Saturday morning cartoon. Not gonna lie, it’s rough around the edges, but there’s something oddly satisfying about whipping boulders at stegosauruses. Definitely one for the retro-curious.
