Dinopark Tycoon came out in 1993 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by MECC, the same folks behind Oregon Trail. It was a time when management sims were finding their footing on PC, and this one let you build something wild right on your desktop.

You play as the park manager, starting with a small loan and a plot of land. Your job is to buy dinosaur eggs, hatch them, build enclosures, and set up amenities like food stands and restrooms to keep visitors happy and spending money. Key mechanics include balancing your budget carefully (dinosaurs are expensive to feed), researching new species to attract bigger crowds, and dealing with occasional disasters like storms or sick dinosaurs. The game moves at a deliberate pace, and a single financial misstep can lead to bankruptcy. It feels like a constant, engaging puzzle where every dollar matters.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
