Game Overview

Dokapon Journey is basically Mario Party meets an RPG, but with way more backstabbing. You roll dice to move around a board, fight monsters, and complete quests—except your "friends" can swoop in, steal your loot, or even turn you into a useless sheep at the worst possible moment. The first time someone bankrupts you by landing on your town, you'll either laugh or throw your DS across the room.

It’s got that classic Dokapon chaos where one bad spin can ruin your whole strategy, but that’s also what makes it weirdly addictive. The single-player’s fine if you just wanna grind, but the real fun is in multiplayer—local only, though, so grab some buddies who won’t hold grudges (or do, if you’re into that). Just don’t expect to stay friends by the end of a full campaign.

Fair warning: the music will get stuck in your head for days.
