Game Overview
Doom Troopers is basically Contra with zombies and way more gore. You pick one of two beefy commandos and blast through eight levels of mutants that explode into chunks when you shoot them—heads pop off, limbs fly everywhere, it’s ridiculous in the best way. First level throws these shambling corpse guys at you, and half the fun is seeing how they ragdoll after a shotgun blast.
It’s got that classic run-and-gun feel where you’re constantly jumping over pits while dodging enemy fire, and the two-player co-op makes the chaos even better. Some of the later levels get brutal with the enemy spam, but that’s part of the charm. Just don’t expect deep lore—this is pure 90s action with a side of over-the-top violence.
