Play Dragon Ball - Advance Adventure (K)(Independent) Online
Swing Goku’s power pole through crowds, then take fights airborne—somehow the flying controls just click. Dig around for Dragon Balls between smashing through the Red Ribbon Army and those brutal Piccolo showdowns.

Game Overview
Dragon Ball - Advance Adventure is one of those GBA gems that actually makes the old-school beat 'em up formula work. You start off as kid Goku smashing through waves of enemies with his power pole, and before long you're bouncing between ground combat, flying sections (where the controls somehow feel way better than they should), and one-on-one boss fights that play like a stripped-down fighting game.
What surprised me is how much content they packed in—30 characters if you count all modes, though story mode sticks to the classics from Goku’s early days up through the King Piccolo arc. Yeah, the story’s condensed to hell (no way Raditz would approve), but the gameplay’s snappy enough that I didn’t care. Finding hidden Dragon Balls and unlockable moves between levels gives it that "just one more try" hook when you’re grinding for upgrades.
Even if you’ve never touched Dragon Ball, it’s a solid side-scroller with enough variety to keep it from feeling repetitive. The sprite work still holds up too—those Kamehameha effects hit different on the GBA screen.
