Dragon Ball GT: Transformation came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, published by Atari. It was part of a wave of handheld games trying to capture the energy of the anime, though it didn't stand out much even then. The game follows the Baby Saga from the show, letting you play through key moments, but the presentation is pretty basic for its time.
You control Goku, flying through side-scrolling stages, punching and kicking generic enemies. The main goal is to clear each level, defeat bosses, and eventually unlock Super Saiyan 4 Goku. Signature mechanics include screen-by-screen exploration, simple combo-based combat, and transforming into more powerful forms during fights. The pacing is repetitive, and the difficulty can feel unbalanced due to stiff controls. It feels like a rushed attempt to cash in on the license, with little depth or polish to keep you engaged.
