Game Overview

Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku is one of those GBA RPGs that really nails the DBZ vibe—you start off as kid Goku, punching dinosaurs and training with Master Roshi, then work your way up to the big fights against Vegeta and Frieza. The combat’s simple but satisfying, and flying around the map feels surprisingly smooth for a handheld game.

It’s got that classic DBZ power progression—you’ll go from struggling against Raditz to absolutely wrecking Saibamen in no time. Some of the side quests are a grind, but blasting Kamehamehas never gets old. Just don’t expect deep RPG mechanics—this is pure, dumb DBZ fun.

If you grew up watching Goku scream his way through transformations, this game’s a nostalgia trip worth playing.
