Play Dragon's Revenge (USA, Europe) Online
Bounce balls off bumpers to fight a dragon, then discover warp zones and platformer-style bosses hiding in the pinball tables. The physics are weirdly unpredictable, but that’s half the fun.
Dragon's Revenge came out for the Sega Genesis in 1993, developed by Technopop and published by Sega. It was part of that experimental phase on the console where developers tried mixing genres, in this case blending pinball with fantasy adventure. It didn't get a lot of attention at the time, but it had a certain quirky charm that made it stand out.
You control a silver ball, essentially a pinball, through a series of themed tables that act like dungeons. Your main goal is to defeat the dragon by hitting targets and eventually confronting it in a boss battle. The gameplay involves bouncing off bumpers, navigating ramps, and avoiding hazards, all while trying to uncover hidden warp zones that lead to platform-style boss fights. The physics can feel a bit unpredictable, which adds to both the challenge and the occasional frustration. Playing it feels like a strange but engaging hybrid where careful aim and a little luck determine your progress.
