Play DragonHeart (France) Online
Pick a knight or a dragon, then swap between them—slash through enemies as Bowen or roast them from above as Draco. The pixel art’s rough but full of charm, especially when you’re breathing fire over some chump.

Game Overview
DragonHeart on the Game Boy is one of those weird little licensed games that somehow works. You get to play as either Bowen, the knight with a sword, or Draco, the dragon—which, yeah, is way cooler than it has any right to be. Switching between them mid-game actually matters: Bowen handles close combat while Draco can fly over gaps and torch enemies from above. It’s a bit janky by today’s standards, but there’s something charming about the way it tries to cram a co-op dynamic into a single-player adventure.
The pixel art holds up surprisingly well, especially Draco’s animations—you can almost hear Sean Connery’s voice grumbling through the tiny Game Boy speaker. The levels mix simple puzzles with hack-and-slash fights, and while it’s no masterpiece, it’s got more personality than most movie tie-ins from that era. If you’ve got a soft spot for ‘90s fantasy or just want to play as a dragon on a monochrome screen, this one’s a fun time capsule.
