Game Overview

Dungeon of Death is one of those MS-DOS games that makes you question whether you're actually having fun or just torturing yourself—but in the best way possible. You start in a pitch-black corridor with nothing but a flickering torch, and within minutes, you'll step on a pressure plate that sends darts flying at your face. Classic.

The graphics are about as detailed as a potato, but somehow that just makes the creaking door sounds and distant growls even creepier. Half the monsters look like they're made of four pixels, but when one lunges at you from the shadows, you'll still jump. And good luck figuring out the puzzles—some of them feel like they were designed by a medieval dungeon master with a grudge.

If you're into games that don't coddle you and leave you to piece together the rules through trial and (mostly) error, this is a perfect little nightmare. Just don't blame me when you lose three hours to a single floor.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
