Dungeons and Dragons - Eye of the Beholder on GBA is one of those old-school dungeon crawlers that’ll either hook you immediately or make you groan at how unforgiving it is. You start in Waterdeep—classic D&D setting—with a party of four, and right away, the game throws you into dark, grid-based dungeons where every corner could hide a trap or some nasty monster.

Combat’s turn-based but feels tense because you’re constantly managing spells, health, and that one rogue who keeps failing lockpicks. The graphics are basic (it’s a GBA port of a much older game), but there’s something satisfying about mapping out the dungeons on graph paper like we used to back in the day. Just don’t expect hand-holding—this one makes you work for every bit of progress.
