Play Emerald Dragon (Japan) [En by TransCorp v1.1] Online
You play as a dragon disguised as a human, balancing quick attacks with slower spells in turn-based fights while unraveling a surprisingly deep SNES RPG story. The pixel art’s gorgeous, though expect some grinding between those story beats.

Game Overview
Emerald Dragon is one of those hidden SNES RPGs that never made it West officially—thankfully, this fan translation lets you play it in English. You control Atrushan, who’s actually a dragon disguised as a human (cool twist, right?), teaming up with a girl named Tamryn to stop some empire called the Tiradites from wrecking everything.
The combat’s turn-based but with a twist: actions cost time points, so faster moves let you attack more often. At first I kept spamming big spells, then realized quick slashes were way more efficient. The story’s surprisingly solid for a 16-bit era game—lots of dialogue, and characters actually have personalities instead of just spouting exposition.
Fair warning: the random encounters can get a bit grindy, but the pixel art and music make up for it. That dragon transformation scene? Still looks gorgeous.
