Play Fatal Fury Special (Europe) Online
Dodging between planes to avoid Geese Howard’s cheap shots while trying to nail Terry’s Power Geyser timing—this SNES port still feels surprisingly sharp.

Game Overview
Fatal Fury Special on SNES takes everything that made Fatal Fury 2 fun and cranks it up. You get all the original fighters plus a few new faces—including the bosses, who are finally playable (Geese Howard feels ridiculously strong, but maybe that's just me). The two-plane fighting system still feels fresh, letting you hop between foreground and background to dodge attacks or set up combos.
First thing you'll notice is how much smoother everything feels compared to the original. The inputs are tighter, the animations have more weight to them, and landing a desperation move actually feels like you earned it. I spent way too long trying to figure out Terry's Power Geyser timing before it clicked.
It's not perfect—some characters clearly got more love than others—but for a 16-bit fighter, it holds up surprisingly well. The music still slaps, too.
