Play Fighter Destiny 2 Online

Land precise hits on glowing body parts to score points—button mashing won’t cut it when the guy who can barely stand still wins by out-aiming you. Feels like a fighting game crossed with darts, complete with that janky N64 charm.

Game Overview

Fighter Destiny 2 on N64 is one of those fighting games that plays by its own rules. Instead of just bashing your opponent into submission, you rack up points by hitting specific targets on their body—like a weird, violent game of darts. Knockouts and ring-outs still happen, but sometimes the guy barely standing wins because he landed more precise hits. Took me a few matches to stop button-mashing and actually aim.

There’s a decent chunk of moves to mess around with (over 30, apparently), and the create-a-fighter thing carries over from the first game. The scoring system keeps fights tense even when both players are limping—no lazy health bar staring here. Just don’t expect flashy combos; it’s more about timing and positioning than spectacle.

It’s janky in that classic N64 way, but the strategy’s surprisingly deep once you stop treating it like a typical fighter.
