Game Overview
Fighter's History is that weird SNES fighter that got Data East sued by Capcom because, yeah, it's basically Street Fighter II with the serial numbers filed off. You've got your fireball motions, your dragon punches, your dude in a red gi—it's all there, just slightly off, like a bootleg arcade cabinet. Some of the characters are fun though, like the clown who fights with balloons or the guy who throws his helmet like a boomerang. The lawsuit drama makes it more interesting than the actual gameplay, honestly.
It's not terrible, but you'll play one match and immediately start thinking "I could just be playing Street Fighter right now." Still, kind of a fun piece of fighting game history if you're into that sort of thing.
