Game Overview

Final Fight Debug is a special version of the 1990 SNES beat 'em up from Capcom. It was not a standard retail release but a tool used internally, giving players a rare, unfiltered look at the game's mechanics during the console's early years.

You control one of the three main heroes, Cody, Guy, or Haggar, but the debug mode lets you break all the rules. The main objective remains to fight through Metro City's streets to rescue Jessica, but you can now spawn any enemy or item at will, control enemy AI, and even play as the final boss. This turns the normally linear, screen-by-screen brawling into a sandbox of pure experimentation, letting you test combos or create impossible scenarios. The pacing is entirely in your hands, making the usually challenging game as difficult or trivial as you want. It feels like being handed the keys to the city with no instructions.
