Game Overview

Frogger II: ThreeeDeep! came out in 1984 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by SEGA Enterprises, Inc. It was a sequel that expanded on the original Frogger concept, arriving during a time when arcade-style games were finding a solid home on personal computers. The game built on familiar ideas but introduced new layers, literally, giving players more to navigate than just a busy road and river.

You control Frogger across three distinct screens: an underwater section, the ocean surface, and a sky filled with moving clouds. Your goal is to guide your frog safely through each environment to reach home, one screen at a time. Key mechanics include dodging enemy creatures like fish and octopuses underwater, hopping across the backs of whales and turtles at the surface, and catching rides on birds to cross the sky. The pacing is tense, and the difficulty ramps up quickly, demanding precise timing and careful observation. It feels both challenging and rewarding when you finally thread your way through all three layers without a mistake.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
