Play Fruit Salad Online
Smash arrow keys to line up pixel fruit before the screen fills—those clunky controls make every near-miss with a pineapple way more dramatic than it should be.

Fruit Salad was part of a compilation called MS-DOS Classic Games, though the original developer or publisher is not widely remembered. It fits right into that era of simple, single-screen games that ran on almost any hardware, demanding more from your reflexes than your graphics card.
You control a small cursor, moving it around the screen to match three or more identical fruits in a row before the playfield completely fills up. The main objective is to clear as many fruits as possible to keep the game going, with each match causing the remaining pieces to collapse downward. Two signature mechanics are the constant pressure from new fruits rising from the bottom and the way matched fruits sometimes drop bonus items or trigger small chain reactions. The pacing is relentless; the difficulty ramps up quickly, leaving little room for error. It feels like a tense, slightly chaotic race against a screen that refuses to stay empty for long.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
