Game Overview

If you're into Fullmetal Alchemist and card games, this DS title is a weird little gem. You start by picking a basic deck—I went with Edward’s because, well, of course—and then dive into battles that actually feel like they pulled mechanics straight from the anime. Alchemy costs energy, characters have their signature moves, and yeah, you’ll probably mess up your first few matches figuring out how transmutations work.

The card art’s got that classic 2000s anime vibe, and there’s something satisfying about slowly unlocking better cards through battles instead of just buying packs. It’s not the deepest TCG out there, but for a licensed game, it’s way more thoughtful than I expected. Just don’t blame me when you lose to a surprise Roy Mustang combo.
