Play Goemon's Great Adventure Online

Konami released Goemon's Great Adventure for the Nintendo 64 in 1998, a time when the console was well established and platformers often leaned into cooperative play. It was the second 3D Goemon title on the system, following Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, and continued the series' tradition of blending action with a distinctly oddball Japanese folklore aesthetic.

You control either Goemon or Ebisumaru, navigating side-scrolling stages filled with platforming challenges, enemy encounters, and occasional puzzle-solving. The main goal is to progress through levels, defeat bosses, and ultimately stop a villain's plot. Signature mechanics include the ability for two players to cooperate on the same screen, using a pipe for close combat and a variety of sub-weapons for ranged attacks. The game is known for its moderate to high difficulty, with precise jumps and enemy patterns requiring careful attention. It feels energetic and chaotic, especially with a partner, creating a shared experience that is both challenging and consistently amusing.
