Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on PSP is one of those GTA games that feels like a throwback but still keeps things fresh. You play as Huang Lee, a Triad member who rolls into Liberty City to deliver his dad’s sword—only to get ambushed, robbed, and left for dead. So yeah, revenge is on the menu.

The top-down view gives it that classic GTA vibe, but the cel-shaded graphics make everything pop. You’ve got your usual safehouse for storing cars and checking emails, plus a handy GPS to keep you from getting lost in Liberty City’s chaos. Missions are solid, but the real fun is the drug-trading side hustle—buy low, sell high, and try not to get busted by cops mid-deal. One wrong move and you’re dumping your entire stash.

Police chases work a little differently here—instead of just outrunning them, you can actually wreck cop cars to shake them off. And if you’re feeling bold, hijacking armored Ammu-Nation trucks is a risky way to stock up on firepower. The PSP version adds extra missions and radio stations, so there’s always something to do when you’re not dodging bullets or flipping drugs for profit.

It’s got that perfect mix of old-school charm and new tricks—definitely one of the more underrated GTAs out there.
