Gremlins Unleashed on the Game Boy Color is exactly as chaotic as you'd hope—you either play as sweet little Gizmo trying to clean up the mess, or one of his gremlin buddies making sure things stay gloriously broken. The pixel art somehow nails those gremlin grins, and the gameplay bounces between platforming and weird little puzzles (like turning enemies into allies... or more gremlins, because why not?).

It’s got that classic Gremlins vibe—silly, slightly mean, and full of tiny disasters. I kept getting distracted by the little details, like how the gremlins shamble when they walk or the way Gizmo’s ears flop when he jumps. Definitely a weird little time capsule if you grew up with the movies, but even if you didn’t, it’s a fun way to wreck a digital town without consequences.
