Game Overview
GT Advance 3 - Pro Concept Racing (RDG) (EU) is one of those GBA racers that feels surprisingly good for a handheld. The tracks are tight, and you really have to nail the drifts to keep speed through corners. I remember spending way too much time tweaking my car's setup, trying to shave off half a second on the time trials.
The first few races ease you in, but once you hit the later circuits, the AI gets aggressive. There's something satisfying about threading between two cars on a narrow stretch, tires barely gripping. The customization isn't deep, but swapping parts does make a noticeable difference in how the car handles.
It's not perfect—some tracks feel a little samey after a while—but for a GBA racer, GT Advance 3 holds up better than most. The sense of speed is solid, even if the graphics are obviously limited.
