Guitar Hero - On Tour for the DS is basically the handheld version of that "air guitar but with plastic accessories" magic. You get this little guitar grip that slides onto the side of your DS—kinda awkward at first, but once you start nailing those colored fret buttons while swiping the stylus to strum, it clicks. The tracklist’s got some solid rock anthems, and failing a song feels way more dramatic when your tiny crowd boos you on that postage-stamp screen.

It’s not perfect—your hand cramps after a while, and good luck playing this on a bus without elbowing someone—but for a portable rhythm game, it’s weirdly satisfying.
