Guitar Hero: On Tour for the DS is basically the same frantic, finger-tapping fun you know from the console games—just crammed into a tiny screen. You hold the DS sideways, plug in this little plastic guitar grip (which feels weird at first but you get used to it), and suddenly you're sliding your fingers across colored frets while frantically tapping the touchscreen to strum.

The song list is a solid mix of rock and pop hits—everything from "All the Small Things" to "Barracuda"—and yeah, Star Power’s still there for those clutch moments. Multiplayer works if you can find another DS owner with the game, though good luck coordinating that these days. It’s not perfect (good luck nailing solos on that tiny fretboard), but it’s still the closest you’ll get to shredding on a bus ride.
