Game Overview

Hands of Time is one of those Game Boy Color games that makes you wonder how it slipped under the radar. You play as this kid who stumbles into a pocket watch that lets you mess with time—rewind a bad jump, freeze enemies mid-step, or fast-forward past tedious bits. The puzzles start simple, but by level three, you're already scratching your head, trying to figure out how to rewind a falling pillar just enough to use it as a bridge.

The pixel art pops with these warm, nostalgic colors, and the music has that classic GBC hum—you know, the kind that gets stuck in your head after you turn it off. I got stuck on this one puzzle where you have to freeze a swinging pendulum to climb it, and it took me way longer than I'd like to admit. But when it clicks? So satisfying.

If you like Zelda-style adventure with a time-twisting gimmick that actually works, this one's a no-brainer. Just don't blame me when you lose track of time playing it.
