Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life is basically the same cozy farming sim as A Wonderful Life, but this time you play as a woman—which means you get to woo one of the local bachelors instead of the bachelorettes. You still start with that same sad, overgrown farm, trying to turn it into something profitable while befriending (or romancing) the quirky villagers.

Little things make it feel fresh, like being able to swap outfits or check a mirror that nags you about eating and sleeping (honestly, relatable). The big catch? You’ve got to get married in the first chapter, or the game just… ends. No pressure. There’s also a neat link feature with the GBA version if you’re into that, but honestly, I just liked milking cows and watching my kid grow up over the years.
