Play Heroes of the Lance Online
You swap between Dragonlance heroes mid-brawl—Raistlin zaps skeletons while Caramon cleaves through goblins, all in these weirdly fun maze-like ruins that keep flipping perspectives. Classic 8-bit jank, but nailing the right character for each fight feels great.

Game Overview
Heroes of the Lance is one of those weird little Sega Master System gems that feels like someone took an AD&D campaign and crammed it into a side-scrolling brawler. You control the whole Dragonlance crew—Tanis, Raistlin, Sturm, all of them—switching between characters on the fly when one gets knocked out or when you need a specific ability. Goldmoon’s healing comes in clutch when you’re deep in the ruins, trust me.
The maze-like levels keep things interesting, with doors flipping the perspective to new areas like some kind of fantasy funhouse. It’s janky in that classic 8-bit way, but there’s something satisfying about figuring out which hero wrecks which enemy—Raistlin’s spells melt undead, while Caramon just smashes everything with his sword. Just don’t expect deep RPG mechanics; this is more about chaotic dungeon crawling with your favorite book characters.
