Game Overview
Hopping Mappy is that weird little arcade sequel where you're a cop mouse bouncing around on a pogo stick—yeah, it's as ridiculous as it sounds. You hop between floating checkerboard tiles in these garden stages, trying to grab treasures while a bunch of cats chase you. The treasures come in different shapes, like coins and jewels, and you need to collect all eight to clear the stage.
Every four stages, things get even weirder with a bonus round where the rules flip on you. The controls take a second to get used to—your pogo stick doesn’t always go where you expect—but once it clicks, there’s something oddly satisfying about out-bouncing those cats. It’s definitely one of those arcade games that feels like it was dreamed up at 3 AM.
