Game Overview

I remember picking up Incredible Crash Dummies on the Super Nintendo back in 1994. It was published by LJN, a name you'd see on a lot of licensed games at the time. The game fit right into that era of colorful, sometimes quirky action titles that tried to stand out on the SNES, even if it wasn't always the smoothest experience.

You control one of the crash test dummies, navigating through side scrolling levels filled with obstacles and enemies. The main goal is to rescue your fellow dummies by finding them in each stage and then reaching the exit. Your character can jump, punch, and use a few special moves, like a spinning attack or a temporary invincibility power up. The levels are packed with hazards, from spinning blades to bottomless pits, and the physics feel intentionally loose and bouncy, making every collision unpredictable. It's not an easy game; the controls take some getting used to, and the level design can be punishing. Playing it feels like guiding a wobbly, breakable toy through a chaotic obstacle course where every mistake costs you a limb.
