Inva Taxi is one of those MS-DOS games that came out without much fanfare, part of a collection simply labeled 0 MS-DOS Classic Games. I don't recall the developer or publisher offhand, but it fits right into that era of simple, direct arcade-style experiences that relied on quick reflexes more than complex stories.

You control a blocky taxi cab in a city under alien attack, swerving to avoid laser fire and obstacles while trying to reach panicked pedestrians who need a ride to safety. Your main goal is to pick up as many passengers as you can and deliver them to an evacuation point before your cab gets destroyed. The signature mechanics include a slippery, momentum-based driving model that makes sharp turns risky, and a strict timer that adds tension with every wasted second. It feels frantic and unforgiving, like you're constantly balancing speed against survival as the screen fills with chaos.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
