Game Overview

Okay, so Jaws on NES is this weird little game where you're basically playing a budget version of the fourth movie. You start off cruising around in a tiny boat, hunting down the shark—except half the time you're stopping to send a diver down to stab baby sharks and jellyfish for conch shells. Yeah, it's as random as it sounds. Those shells buy boat upgrades, which you'll definitely need because Jaws shows up now and then to wreck your day.

The best part? Sometimes you stumble on a submarine, which feels like cheating because suddenly you're way more powerful. When you finally weaken Jaws enough, the real chaos starts: you're tossing strobes into the water like some kind of aquatic rave, then trying to ram him with your boat. It's janky, it's bizarre, and honestly? Kind of fun in a "what were they thinking?" way.
