Game Overview

Man, Elvira 2: The Jaws of Cerberus is like someone took a Hammer horror flick, dumped a bucket of pixelated camp all over it, and handed you the keyboard. You start off in this gothic nightmare where Elvira—sarcasm dialed to 11—drags you into her latest mess, and suddenly you're clicking through cobwebbed mansions and dodging Cerberus like he’s a particularly aggressive stray dog.

The puzzles? Classic early '90s adventure game logic. You’ll poke at everything, combine weird items (why does this garlic necklace work on that ghost?), and probably die a few times just to hear Elvira’s snarky commentary. The pixel art’s got this grimy charm, all exaggerated shadows and cheesy monster designs—like if a heavy metal album cover came to life.

It’s janky, it’s ridiculous, and honestly, that’s the appeal. If you’ve got a soft spot for games that don’t take themselves seriously (and maybe a tolerance for some dated design), this one’s a blast. Just save often—trust me.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
